TD Bank American's Most Convenient Bank
TD Bank’s Subcommittees focus on leadership opportunities for groups such as Women, Minorities, and the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender & Allies (LGBTA) community. Its objectives also include Building an Agenda for Persons with Disabilities, under the leadership of Suzanne Poole, Executive Vice President, Retail Strategies, and Chair of the People with Disabilities Subcommittee. Suzanne states that, "diversity is in the fabric of our culture. We could not possibly ‘build a better bank’ without leveraging the power of diversity as part of the company’s business strategy."
Implementing these practices will assist TD Bank in creating a more comfortable and inclusive environment which positively impacts the experience of both employees and customers with disabilities. This will enable TD Bank to set goals so that they may be viewed as an employer and bank of choice for people with disabilities.
